[REQUEST] Need some stuff for Blade Of Agony

Hello wolfensteiners, as the thread title says, I need some help finding/catching/gathering some stuff for Blade of Agony. Thread is a little bump/double of this post, hope that's not a problem, but I had do to this because getting ignored while writing this inside this thread of mine (old post deleted).

Maps stuff:
Venetian like textures, ala Wolf3d/ww-nazis style. I'm going to build a Canal Grande mission map of it. :-)

Sprites stuff:
Tank/Truck metal debris for exploding tanks/trucks stuff, ala ArmageDoom style.

Models Stuff:
Some Zeppelin-like WW2 airship models, ala MOHAA/Return To Castle Wolfenstein style.

All your suggestions or resources will be really appreciated, also they'll surely have properly credits if made from scratch.

I am not totally sure but I think Enjay used something in Burghead Liberation (sprites, code), you might want to take a look at this.

What do you plan exactly? If it is very far way you could also use a sprite instead extracted from a photo.

Fot the debris stuff, I'll look forward to Enjay's Burghead then, also I see MagicWazard from R667 forums could be of some aid for the purpose.

Sprites sometimes looks awkward, expecially if we have to use BIG sprites... I'm planning for an airship mission that starts from an airport SS parade, where people and soldiers are all together to wait Hitler's arrival until he gets airship (this could be a starting mission slideshow IMOH).
Then we're in in disguise for a moment, but one of our comrades is an SS spy and alarms are set everywhere, so we must find a way to parachute us out until we get what we need (akten, prisoners etc:) or just trying to reach pilot's cabinet for some reason or just kill'em all in a one-shot way.

For Venetian textures, I've found some amazing mod for PainKiller, but I'm not able to extract textures from that because I don't have the game and I can't figure it out how to do :-(

If anybody of you are able to do so, will be my lifetime hero! :cool:

As much of an airship fan as I am, AFAIK Germany didn't use airships in WW2. Only the US did for anti-submarine operations I think. Still want one?

It is not needed as an enemy but as a decoration/Prop I guess

I see that Peter Bark deleted previous link... BTW I can't do some "sign in" stuff ATM, I'm very overwhelmed with Gore and Venice map for BoA, also 123D site seems to be filled with gargantuan amounts of ADs.

I have a bunch of metal-debris. They're not really tank-related or such, nor they're animated, but if y'want them, I can pack'em for ya. They were destined to use as garbage for the industrial and the Mist level, so there was no reason for me to animate.

For Venetian-theme textures, I suggest you to dig up some of the Operation:Thunderstorm resources. The first level of that game is extremely similar to Venice, albeit there are tiny streets as opposed to canals, but otherwise, house textures and fences are identical.

As for a blimp, I suggest y'grab the game "Wolfschanze". Yup, City interactive. Although it's a deplorable, extremely poor Mortyr-ripoff, it does have a blimp in it, which you might be able to use. Alternatively, I can wire over the Quake 3 Arena map "Skylancer", which have not less than 3 blimps.

Debris: really welcomed Reactor, just pack'em and I'll give them a look deeply
Venice: atm I got ReturnCastleWolf stuff + Vampire The Masquerade brimful tx, also I plan to give look to OTS stuff
Blimp: can't obtain Schanze ATM, but I think I had skylancer map q3 stuff of mine

In the end, what else I can say: you're really useful as always, in return I'll PM to you some unreleased stuff of mine. Thankx a lot.

Very well, here are all the metal debris/vehicle parts, which would suit yer needs. Some of them still retain their cyan background, so beware.

I intended to do the LZ130 as it was the last German airship to see service before they were all scrapped in 1940, but couldn't find any decent pictures to work from. The one I did find for the 127 isn't very good either, but it's all I can come up with. Also, you said it was for background so I didn't bother with any detail. If you need it, let me know.

Just FYI, call an airship a blimp in an aviation forum, expect pitchforks and torches. About as popular as calling a ship a boat.

Thankie lilmouse, I'll see tomorrow if I can take a look into it. Now I'll open it with my editor to see how it's done in general, but looks very promising.

For the "blimp" stuff, i'm OK with Lil, I had some problems to understand which blimp was for, then I tought "oh yes, airships".

BTW, using blimp word + LZ127 inside google I found this:

That airship really looks useful. Technically, the Wolfschanze one is just like that, so you don't actually need to grab that money and suffer thru the whole game just to obtain it.

As for airship-blimp difference, I never really felt the difference so far (I'm not an aviation-fan guy). From game to game, this changes constantly. In Red Alert 2, they're called airships, whilst in Tyrian, they're called blimps. So it's confusing sometimes.
