A good start but the gloves are obviously just recoloured Strife ones. The Doom gloves do not have an open back and are more "ruffled" at the wrist.

The last complaint is fine but come on, they're on fire. How would they not be hole-y? :P

Still not perfect, but I figured I'd give it a touch-up or two.

Didn't care much for the pure-yellow frames -- hopefully these are a bit better. The gloves took a lot longer than I thought and I got kinda tired of working, so the backs still aren't 100% accurate. Hopefully it'll be hard to notice when they're waving around frantically. :P

Thanks, David -- heck of a potential this one has!

And thank you for making the gloves suck less and more doom like.:thumb:
EDIT: a bit of touching up here and there.

maybe make the skin look a little red/burned around the fire? as it kinda looks like there is just fire burning but the skin is not getting damaged at all :P
and maybe make the flame a little more red? as in doom fire is kinda red, if you look at the red torch, the explosions, lost souls, the only exception is the archvile fire but i suppose that is some magic shit :P

Honestly, it needs better dithering, if it's going to use a limited palette like that. The banding in the flames is killing me :?

@+:icytux:+: do not forget about the fire barrier, it too is yellow.
@ Caligari_87 8-): I will go for a Noise dithering in this case(http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/glossa ... hering.htm).

hmm...this is all great here. I wonder...their is a chainsaw zombie...why not a double chainsaw zombie? I made a decorate of it. No sprites though... :( I'm trying to see if I can make a grenade launcher zombie from skulltag at the moment....
ItsNatureToDie, what do you think if your available anytime you have? :? :?:

How the hell would a double chainsaw zombie work? Using two chainsaws at once would be next to impossible. They'd be heavy and unwieldy and with only one arm a piece it would be incredibly hard to follow through.

I'd cry "PERVERT" but I've already commented in this thread elsewhere on a similar issue.

Zero X. I didn't mean it like that...I'm talking about the double blade chainsaw weapon

My bad. Though apart from the fact that Doom 64 had one, that's not a particularly practical idea either (for anything other than tearing apart zombies/demons/other living [or undead] creatures).

I still want a dual chainsaw zombie now. :P

Maybe the one used in (Snarboo's?) cmdosdm2.wad, which was also used at the smg's altfire in Xaser's zharky_x.wad. That looks like it'd be able to be dual wielded.

And still, dual chainsaws. :P

I was working on a marine skin for DE's dual-bladed chainsaw, a while ago. I was going to pick it back up next weekend.
