[Request] Bloodless Deaths
I'm looking for animation sequences of every enemy in Doom 2 simply falling over, no blood, no severed limbs - falling over as if they've been knocked out or tranquilized. This is not for purposes of censoring the game; I just got inspired for a mini-mod and kind of can't have the demons exploding into meaty chunks if they've only been stuck with a sleep dart. =P
Re: [Request] Bloodless Deaths
Here's a few I made earlier. Enjoy.

Neat Xim, an actual falling over chaingunner! Below is my old incomplete attempt at trying to make a falling backward chaingunner.

Most any death animation would become bloodless if you edited out the blood. Am I wrong?
Oh, and those are handy, Xim.

Not the Cacodemon and Mancubus, among others, who physically fall apart. It seems kind of stupid to have the enemies disintegrating from a tranquilizer dart and then putting themselves back together again.NeuralStunner wrote:Most any death animation would become bloodless if you edited out the blood. So without any blood at all, they wouldn't be bloodless?wildweasel wrote:Not the Cacodemon and Mancubus, among others, who physically fall apart.

Seems like a Manc would take the equivalent of an elephant tranquilizer though. Anyway, looks like he'd be easy to edit for a KO, if you only went up to frame O. I think a Caco would be even simpler, just use a pain frame and maybe flatten 'im out a bit on the bottom. You could even set it to low gravity so it would drift down while unconcious.
Personally I think that would be amusing, tranquilize a Caco and watch him drop to the ground, then run over and punch the sucker around like a beach ball.

Am I the only one who thinks the Caco kind of WOULD fall apart if he were tranq'd?

Re: [Request] Bloodless Deaths
Pretty good!
Would also be helpful to have another on-the-ground frame, with the eye half open.

Re: [Request] Bloodless Deaths
That is... cute? Yeah it is. :> Always wanted to shoot a sitting caco right in the face!Blaskowitz wrote:here is a tranquilized cacodemon

Nice beanbag seat you have there.Blaskowitz wrote:

It would hurt your ass if you sat on it, though. I mean look at all those spikes
And if it became consious again, it'd just eat you, so it wouldn't really make a perfect beanbag.
