Anyone have experience using sculpted models and a blue screen to make sprites?

you know what i was toying around with when i was still dooming....i was taking kneaded erasers and making animated heads and bodies with them. when i was done with one guy, i used the same crap to make a new guy. i used the back end of an incense stick and whatever other sharp or pointy thing i had around to sculpt the details. twas fun.

You probably already knew that the original Doom sprites were done that way (with a bit of touch-up in DPaint afterwards I believe). So it's definitely a valid method of getting good sprites.

DPaint! :)

I just picked up a Chroma Key +, a DCTV, SuperGen + Genlocker, and DCTV RGB adaptor for my Amiga(s). I figured that amongst other applications I could use these for, DOOM could possibly be one of them. Heck, the Chroma Key + came with a blue screen so I might as well. ;)
