Alpha Decal Woes [Lame]
'Ello,
I'm having trouble getting a decal to display correctly. It's an alpha decal, so I followed the instructions on the Wiki and imported it via XWE as raw data, yet it still refuses to display. I'm getting pretty pissed off about it. Here's a screenshot that tells you everything else you need to know.

Originally the decals were in between SS_START and SS_END, but I moved them, thinking that might help. (No.)
Advice?

Have you tried using the sprites as actual sprites (e.g. projectiles or something) to make sure they're displaying correctly in the first place?

Try a tool that actually supports PNG's first... like Slumped!
Re: Alpha Decal Woes [Lame]
XWE doesn't support PNGs?

No...at least with me...when i import a PNG image, it just recognises it as a normal sprite, screwing it all...and that really pisses me off...
So i have to use SlumpEd to import PNGs...

Re: Alpha Decal Woes [Lame]
You did use the Load (Raw) option, didn't you?
EDIT: Nevermind. Unusual that it doesn't register properly.

Re: Alpha Decal Woes [Lame]
Dammit. Yet again more bullshit. Followed all the steps as usual, used SLumpED which worked just fine before, and this is my reward:

I would post the decal, but apparently thats just a little too much for imageshack to fucking handle.
Can anyone please tell me what the fuck is going on with this? I'm getting real sick of this decal bullshit.

This probably has something to do with your problem. In this thread:http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=17394Randy wrote:And right after I posted this, I realized that it doesn't seem to work for any color other than black. I'll check more later, since it's getting late here.
