They've been done in Wolfendoom and others, but they don't look good. The guard (and officer) uses both hands and aims forward at you, but on the other rotations made he uses one hand and it just looked awful to me. The only real way to do that is to draw it from scratch. The SS Guard would probably be the easiest, but the ones I've seen look bad too. The Mutant would be the hardest in my opinion.

Didn't someone do some good ones for the doom versions recently? The shading isn't the greatest but they are good :D

If you mean the one that is just Wolfenstein 3d on the Doom engine, no they didn't because that was made to resemble Wolf as much as possible.

Hmm... another 8 sprites along with the 21...
Here's a sprite from SNES Wolf3D, from Staatmeister's censored death animation.

Hopefully this will give you something to start with.

I'm trying to make a Retro-futurism themed mod (you know, like those 50's Sci-Fi movies) and so I started making funny looking weapons.

Never save sprites/low-res graphics in jpg format. Compression ruins it.

YEAH!, thats an absolutely great sprite ! :D
I sure can work that out in some rotations.
If it is part of a death animation from the Snes, i wouldnt mind to give Hitler 2 possibilities of dying, if only i see what the rest looks like.

Hay, found some old concepts from R One that I've updated. Believe it or not... I am still working on it o_O (I'm such a hypocrite ;) )
I'll very likely change the title since it's so stoopid.

The silly thing with the Wolf3D chainguns is how they have rotating barrels, which are entirely useless since (judging from the muzzle flash), they shoot from a barrel in the middle.

Could you make the arms recoil a bit backward? It seems strange that they would only move up and down. I guess when they go one pixel down they should also go one pixel backward.

Yeah... i saw it too... about the arms part AND the chaingun fireburst... aswell the shoulder part....
As soon as everything is done and properly, i might higher-up the fireburst so that the rotation of the
chaingun has a purpose.
