Walking frames A/C and B/D are symmetrical, so that's only two sets of rotation frames to draw for the walking animation.

Will you make all 8 rotations for the attack, or just 5?

I'd like him to, although I'm not sure how to give him a death animation that would make this sequence look good.

Also, when the time comes for that, should the blue horrors be a different sprite, or a palette translation?

You know, this frame doesn't look like a monster at all.
It looks like some grand wizard of some ancient pagan order performing some l33t morris dancing manouvre :P :P
It is one month until 1st May, after all :)

Almost finished 2 more frames. Need to clean them up a little.

Only 3 more rotations to go for this frame before I start the next one.

Ya... :(

I certainly don't think like that. The monster looks cool!
I think you should finish it :)

@Big project:I love the monster, I'd happily use it if you ever finished it. Would fit perfectly for my mod, it might not be the most doomy monster but for the sort of hexen/strife clash thing i'm making it would fit like a glove.

Here's a different sprite I've made a while ago. Maybe someone'll find it inspiring :)
Not sure what'll get finished, I'm drowning in work (Vore atm).
But man do I love it :D

More than Hexen, it'd fit best in Shadowcaster. Put him next to the werewolf and warthog guys. Heck, even the jumpy has that sort of exaggerated movement animation. I think it's fine. I kinda want to "hire" BPA to make rotation attack sprites for the Shadowcaster monsters, it looks like he'd be perfect for that.

But of course, I can infer from his name that he's already working on a big project alone. :)
