Started working on these again. Might need some help from our friendly neighborhood paralyzer of synapses.

A larger Corvus?

I found a set of sprites from Wolf3D of a 'trained bat holding machineguns'.

I recoloured it, edited the guns out and added beady red eyes.

Might make this bat hold a keg of gunpowder that it drops on your head, then pesters you like a Lost Soul

That'd also work well for a morph class, too.

That is an awesome bat, it'd be a nice replacement for those bat familiars. :)

There are at least two existing flare gun sprites just like yours.

There are flare guns of that style in these mods:
http://armory.drdteam.org/wwmods/inprogress/ww-htic.rar <---The Stranger Part II (for Heretic)
http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=15321 <--Zero Tolerance (works as a small shotgun, but basically the same sort of gun with a different type of ammunition)

Use the command line. The command line switches for ZDoom on Linux's console are IIRC the same as for Windows' command prompt.

There are no installers for ZDoom. It doesn't need one.

The question that's been biting at me is, are you using Suse because you need it for a specific purpose, or are you using it because it's cool/not Windows? If it's the latter, you might want to rethink your computer.

Blimey  Look at the black, bat-like thing, with the red eyes, fourth row down, fourth item in... wonder if that's where they got the Devil Incarnate in SoD? Sort of looks like him!
