I really loving that drone! But, i'm afraid the unchanged original one looks better; Bright, Clear and has fine shading than the new one.Mor'Ladim wrote:Have some things I am working on for my project!
As I was looking through some old sprites of mine, I noticed that the creature on the left could be usable in my Doom II project. The top version is the original, with colors intact. It was meant for a platformer I was working on, but never really took off. The proportions and all are off, since I made it a long time ago. I am talking 2006 here! Below, is of course, the updated version! I still need to work on it a bit, but I was excited to show off the transformation. You may not be able to see it clearly, but the creature is holding a knife, with blade pointed down. Notice how the old sprite grips it from the blade!! The creature is also crouching down, in case one was wondering, but I will need to fix the legs. Hopefully I can pull off the planned behavior of this upcoming enemy!
The drones on the right are more recent works. However, I wanted them to fit in with the Doom environment, and the general theme of my project more. I decided to darken them a bit and made some slight modifications, of which the most noticeable of said adjustments would be the eye. This is actually a fully functional enemy already! I'll just need to adjust its behavior slightly, as it fires more often than I would like it to.
With all that said, I think I should cancel that Heretic project I was working on, and add it all in to the current Doom project. Some of the content may seem to clash at first (Medieval with tech?! It will sort of fit...The theme of my project is based on Genesis/SNES games, and you know how some of those games made no sense), but I think it's for the best, as I often do not manage to finish things, and condensing all into one project would increase the chance of completing one! Plus, I REALLY should finish that Arcane Witch.
Regardless they looks wonderful and can't wait to see more stuff from you!
