Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
That's a good start! Shading needs to be smoother though. Maybe someone else can add those back in...

Ninja'd by Steve, but here's my also-quick-and-sloppy edit.

How did you do that, exactly...? I guess something with palettes, right?

Monochrome colorization over the whole image, getting it as close to Doom's flesh tones as my naked eye could manage, before applying Doom's palette to the image, touching up the areas that were a bit too orange and adding the original coloured shells and dynamite back in.TheBadHustlex wrote:How did you do that, exactly...? I can't gun, and I thought it looked cool. Is this better?Slax wrote:Sights don't make a lick of sense. You'd be peeping down at the barrel.Carbine Dioxide wrote:What are you talking about, Captain J? Your BAR is great!
I think I am done with it for now, but I might add a few things like firing frames and some sorta mid air pick up frame. Credits to Haze Bandicoot, Rail Gunner, Doom Nukem, Captain J, and Malboro Mike.
Added some more pickup stuff. I think I might try to texturize Malboro Mike's mag a little.
Spoiler:Also, Rail Gunner, when you're done with the mag for that BAR, can you take it out of the gun and draw the rest of it?

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Front sight still looks a bit low, Carbine. Dunno, might just be the POV making it look funky. Imagine aiming the thing... or whip up a quick ADS mockup sprite. Feels like you'd be looking down still.
Short barrel's a nice touch. Aw yeah.
Blerp.

Quick edit. Lots of ugly pixels.

Huh. Simpler then I thought.scalliano wrote:Monochrome colorization over the whole image, getting it as close to Doom's flesh tones as my naked eye could manage, before applying Doom's palette to the image, touching up the areas that were a bit too orange and adding the original coloured shells and dynamite back in.TheBadHustlex wrote:How did you do that, exactly...? Anyway, I'm looking forward to what you're gonna do with them.
