I can pull my thumb backwards and turn it around on my hand, but holding it like that while flipping off hurts my thumb.

Just messing around with Eriance's pistol sprite, I'm very inexperienced with spriting so this may look awful, anyways:

Well, the contrast is a bit much (there' a lot of black), there's too much of a cut from the arm to the glove, and the brown reflection on the back of the gun grip needs to be changed. But I like the concept.
