I really don't see the point in having a 10mm vs a 9mm in-game - Doomguy is immune to recoil and pitch-shifting from any Doom weapons. Given that the weapon it was based off of was a 92FS, I'm not changing that any time soon. The only reason I even used the novel's name for Doomguy was because it seemed out of place to have one character without a proper name.

What surprised me when you posted the characters, is that the Helsturmer starts with a M77 Assault Rifle. I would've expected a M81 or LLR for the Helsturmer.

Hmm, the current version doesn't seem to be loading for me. I'm using the latest GzDoom SVN, but still have default guns, no classes or anything. I checked through the thread, am I missing something? Currently just loading the pk3.

I've come to see that as well - I'm reuploading it right now.

I still haven't fixed the firing sound problem, and I can't figure out a way to play the fire-loop end sound at the correct time in the firing sequence. Thankfully, more weapons for POU are inbound.

Where are the pickup sprites for the character's starting weapons?

I was talking about the Railgun, Model 501 Shotgun, and the magical weapons mentioned.

I haven't put together pickups for them yet, though I can do that if you want.

I am also curious as to how the characters will look. Maybe you can make a front idle sprite for concept. I imagine DooM Guy would look different than his regular marine sprite.
