Nice work, the higher level of detail really helps bring it all together. They're slowly getting scarier looking.

The only problem i see with all xeno's is the tail, like something is missing, it looks like dead weight and it shall look like a deadly weapon ready to stab you.

That would actually be pretty awesome. A doom mod that has higher quality and non doom style sprites. I would like to see gore sprites done like this.

lol, when you put out another BETA I will confirm my statement.Actually, he isn't. How could that be the case if he has three projectiles that can cut your health in half and cover a massive range, with 7500 HP, and fast speed of 66? Further, armor doesn't protect against his acid at all. Come on now, you're just saying that because you never liked the idea of him being in the game in the first place. At any rate, I was experimenting with a jumping attack version.
@ New Sprites:
Ultramorph - That looks great, but he should look skinnier, thin out his body and especially his head, it will look even better.
Spitter - Yeah, that looks really good.

Hmm, can the transparent dome be darkened a little more, or is that as dark as it can go and still be see-through?

The Xeno drone looks fine and consistent to the spitter, but you forgot to elongate his shoulder protrudes.

here's images of the original drone from Alien
Maverick, I think those images you've posted aren't really that far off at any rate. the first two are with its head pointing downward more, and that second to last image is of a warrior. If anything, that perspective is already there in the pre-attack stance. A1-D1 frames are looking straight at the player.
Also, its not actually a spitter, it is a drone. It was just given a projectile attack for the game.
See what I mean?
I considered making the dome darker, but I think it looks best like the way it is now, because you can tell more so that its transparent.
EDIT: I should also note that the colors change in Doom's palette, which in fact does make the monster a little darker and de -saturated from this pic of it you see here.
EDIT 2: Looks like I myself found a mistake in in design; I need to give him one more finger on each hand.

While you are doing sprite work, do you think you can give the Spitters a new attack animation when they spit acid? They obviously do not throw acid from their hands.
