the Assault Shotgun seems to be slightly weaker than the Tactical Shotgun is. even with a Power mod, it barely one-shots an Imp, while the Tactical will basically always one-shot an Imp with a Power mod. i guess the tighter spread and larger magazine capacity, as well as being able to be assembled, is what you'd use the Aussie over the Tacty?

Tactical Shotgun has a normal damage range, Assault Shotgun has a more limited damage range, like the Combat Shotgun. hmm, so basically a better Combat Shotgun, then. i hope it gets some decent assemblies in the new big release, though, because the lack of power it has for anyone not a Renegade kind of limits its usefulness unless you can make a Plasmatic assembly out of it, in which case it becomes awesome.

is the Mini-Missile Pistol getting a buff of some sort? even as a Scout, the damage it puts out is very low. i know it's supposed to be offset by the clip actually only using up a single rocket, but it's nowhere near as powerful as the Shredder Pistol can be, in comparison, and really any other kind of missile weapon would probably benefit the Scout more than actually modding the precious Handcannon to that..

My work on the mod is kinda at a standstill right now, as I'm (very easily distracted) in the middle of setting up a new computer, and I've got a goddamn bitchton of files in this thing I need to seek out and preserve on my external. I'll be a while.
EDIT: 7.94 has a little tiny change for DRPG players, for maximum turret shenanigans.

I'm gonna say it right now. I love this mod! It's like Diablo meets Doom! Only thing is we can't actually find loot or loot Doom maps. I mean could you imagine picking up gold coins and diamond chests from Pinkies and Imps? :3

not sure if i said this already, but if you make the Shredder Pistol, and slap a Bulk Mod on it at full clip while reloading afterwards, you get a clip of 11 rounds, not 9. it fixes itself after you shoot the 11 rounds off, though.

yes. you'll have to summon an item called RLWhateverPieceYouWantHerePickup (upper caps letters aren't necessary, that's just what they're using in the code.) the Pickup part is necessary, because otherwise you won't get a "token" for picking up the armor or weapon, and you'll break the way the system works (by throwing it away and gaining an extra slot in your inventory that you can't get rid of.)Jebediah wrote:Is there a way to cheat yourself a specific suit of armor?

So, I take it both beta 8 and the latest monsters pack should be finished...
On the note of a possible bug, the Spider Mastermind still manages to take off health points even when I'm wearing the Ablative Nano Armor, yet the armor itself takes no damage.

Actually, that isn't quite it. The problem is, the Spider Mastermind is literally the only monster with the attacks going straight through my armor. All the backend modding stuff for the new weapons is already done, I just need to make most of the new weapons now, and quite a few of them still have no actual resources or sprites yet.
On the plus side, I came up with a bunch of new armors that should appear in this update that enhance the abilties of the different classes. Pretty cool stuff.
