Yeah, see my code changes for the ready code fix to that. I made it tic sensitive, but I may have screwed up the frame numbers for each of the ready frames. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Alright, another addition. This is the Chaos Serpent's Revenge:

Basically the serpent just grabs fighter and munches his upper torso, dismembering head first, then arms finally the stomach. Then tosses the lower towards the floor.

I'll edit this post with the other body parts (dismembered head, arms) later. The end of the animation is just a sample 'neutral' stance which will loop if there is only one player. Otherwise, being a neutral pose, it will continue performing actions if there is more than one player.
But I think the flechette should be visible somewhere in it, since it can be hard to make out what is happening at the end, maybe a little pause (to take out a flechette) before throwing it in the serpent's mouth?
I can modify that as well as some other aspects like the tail in 3/4th of the animation. But I would like for someone to provide me the flechette sprite first. Couldn't find anywhere on the usual sprite resources.

I might do fatalities for Fighter vs Centaur later.

Awesome works everyone!
But I think the Fighter should rip the Serpent's head appart instead throwing a flechette on it. You know he is a melee rip'n'tearing badass, and he is weak at magic, and shouldn't use magic artifacts for his fatalities.

And the serpent's :D face at the end gets me every time.

i agree with about that.
mage is most smartest hero in hexen(he can use his head of coruse.).
i think he can head shot the ettin's both heads with his one wand.
again, my opinion. :)

Does anyone think we could tidy up compatibility with Wolfen? Something's conflicting with the passive aeon ability which really hurts the fighter, but he was able to use the blunderbuss and his aeon weapon just fine. I didn't pick up enough mana to see if active aeon ability still worked...

If the flechette fatality stays, it needs to cost 1 flechette, and be impossible if you dont have one. otherwise... rip and tear!

It could be a bonus fatality in the way that it'd cause some good radius damage. (More than just a flechette.)

Alright, I'm a little confused.

I am well aware that Fighter is the rip-and-tear guy. But I really don't see why you people insist on having each and every of his fatalities being of the same nature. Yes, tearing off limbs and body parts fits with him but come on. Have a bit of creative liberties... You just want him to keep doing the same kind of thing over and over again?

And what might I ask is so "magical" about climbing onto an enemy's back, forcing it to open its mouth, lobbing a bottle of explosive liquid into it and forcefully making it swallow it? Its a flechette bottle, Hexen's version of a grenade. It does not even have any magical implications. And yet Fighter has been allotted a crossbow that runs on mana as his second weapon slot. So how exactly is a flechette bottle any more "magical" than that?

At best, this kind of fatality would have fit with Cleric more suitably I suppose. But I fail to see how Mage would look appropriate with it.

It wouldn't fit the Cleric at all, really. His flechette doesn't explode. :P
