Alright, but with GZDoom Beta, it flat out refused to work; It was unable to create an OpenGL 3.x render context.

I use GZDoom 1.8.10 for playing Russian Overkill. As for Zandronum, there was a multiplayer version of it. Except it didn't got the new features in the updated version.

@Eddieman the Failed to create OpenGL 3.x context is a problem with your computer usually, not GZDoom.

More specifically, the problem is that you may not have the latest drivers for your video card, or else your video card is just too old.

You guys know you can do multiplayer with GZDoom, right? All you need is ZDL and the host's IP Address...

(G)ZDoom netplay is wonky, for me, at the best of times. And absolutely unbearable most of the time.

I think the only wads appropriate for this are either the Nuts.wad Trilogy, Deus Vult, or any wad with shit-tons of powerful bosses like Realm667's Terminator, Gate-Keeper, UAC Bot, Moloch, etc.

Where can I find those WADs stuffed with all those powerful bosses (besides ZPack, Stronghold, and Ultimate Torment 'N Torture)?

Hello everyone,
First i would like to say that this mod looks great !!!
But... I have a little problem here : I'm using the latest Gzdoom beta and... Almost all weapons are invisible ! I can see the pistol but that's it, i can still shoot but i can't see which weapon i'm using...
Sorry to bother you guys with this but... Could you help me ? ^^'

I loved this mod the first time I played it. :wub:
But ever since I reinstalled GZDoom and got RO 2.4 I have been getting an error every time I open it.

This One:

Unable to load shader Default:
Init Shader 'Default':
Vertex shader:
Vertex shader failed to compile with the following errors:
ERROR: 0:2: '' : extension 'GL_ARB_uniform_buffer_object' is not supported
ERROR: compilation errors. No code generated.


Fragment shader:
Fragment shader failed to compile with the following errors:
ERROR: 0:2: '' : extension 'GL_ARB_uniform_buffer_object' is not supported
ERROR: 0:66: 'LightBufferUBO' : syntax error parse error
ERROR: compilation errors. No code generated.


Linking:
Vertex and Fragment shader(s) were not successfully compiled before glLinkProgram() was called. Link failed.

I still don't get what's going on here....

I really did love this mod but it isn't working now for whatever reason.

I'm using GZdoom 1.8.02 and RO 2.4 but I always get this error:

5 errors while parsing DECORATE scripts

I've tried all I can think off. Any help would be appreciated.

1.8.02 is a very old version of GZDoom. The website you got it from can't be updated because Graf Zahl has lost access to that webspace. Could you try it again with a development build of GZDoom?

A long time ago, I think I came across some joke about a 4th class for Russian Overkill... one that was female.

I came up with a character whose name may also work for this 4th player class...

What if we call her... "Cheryl Noble/Nobyl"?
