If you don't want the BFG to kill you when shooting up close, open up the PK3 file, look for the BFG lump and search for SuperBFGBall and change the A_Explode in its Death state to this:

Code: Select all

TNT1 A 0 A_Explode(400,200,false)
This will let you use the weapon indiscriminately at any range, even point blank and more like the original game.

Question: How does one properly trigger a human shield with a zombie/imp? It always happens at random for me.

I think you need a berserk pack, and then you quick punch an imp while in rip and tear mode, but the imp has to have it's guts hanging out. Not sure if it work on the legless imp, if it is random past this process, then there is a bug.

Well here's your problem, your playing nuts2.wad. I'm surprised your system hasn't exploded from using this and BD together.

Notarget is on and, lagg will be even worse if i dont have notarget. I know Nuts wads will have heavy lag without notarget. I have games always that ridiculousy lagg from zombies hits. Then lagg stop when im take those Zombies hits, unless i load game and lagg come again. Pain sound cause that. I just dont understand why im only, who have this problem. :?

This isn't a BD bug, it's obviously a problem with your system.

^ This.

You need to turn your settings down in order to stop it from doing that.

I have brought up this issue a couple times already Paska, it always happens when there is a LOT of active monsters at once (Say, 50-75+) and my framerate drops to a crawl regardless of resolution.

Skipping to near the 3 minuteish mark if you want to see the dreadful frame drop, otherwise you will see moderate to considerable drop from the combat up until then.

My computer can run 100 Monster sametime smoothly. My computer huge fps drop come only when Zombie hits! Fps is around 500 unless Chaingunner hit and fps drop to 1. When im take those hit. Then Chaingunner hits dont do fps drops anymore, unless i load game or new map, and again Chaingunner hits do heavy fps drop. If you look that video 0:58 where i have god mode and Chaingunner shoot me. There is no lagg. When i take god mode away. Heavy fps drop start immediality. Mostly pain sound what cause this heavy fps drop.
When i play with SKulltag. SKulltag dont have those fps drops.

My computer spec:

OS: Windows 7 64bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K
GPU: AMD HD6950
Memory: 8GB

It happens only when you're recording the game, or does it always happen? In case it only happens when recording, it's normal. FRAPS and other recording programs mess up the FPS sometimes (I have found myself sometimes having only 30FPS having 0 active monsters and 2 minutes later having 30-40 active monsters having 110 FPS for no reason) and then return to normality.

If it happens even without recording (which I suppose it happens) then try using Brutal Doom with OpenGL disabled and see if it happens again. I.e. using ZDoom and not GZDoom could help.
If even using ZDoom you have problems, try to use "The Janitor" addon that Sergeant_Mark_V made and tell us what happens then.
