Implementation of suggestions isn't an all or nothing thing. Some things may not get in, especially if they are [censored word] things.Ghostbreed wrote:Okay. Hey Sarge, I want the chaingun to have smoke coming from the barrels after firing.

Unfortunately, the management will have to side with Woolie on this issue; not because you're wrong, but because you seem to have adopted quite a snippy attitude in this thread. Therefore, you have been awarded one (1) warning, and a suggestion to please stop with the passive-aggressive stuff.Ghostbreed wrote:Since when has Sarge added anything we wanted to Brutal Doom? He made this perfectly clear on the Skulltag forums. Back then I had lots of suggestions, so why do you think I'm not giving anymore? That's why. And Woolie, I post how much I want. You can stop for all I care. Peace.

Looking forward to the release of brutal arsenal How many weapons and varieties is it going to have?
Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
Yeah, I've become aware of that over the course of working on it. I figure I'll go back and tweak the facial expression a bit when i get the actual burning-and-falling-to-ground part done.Blox wrote:The expression looks silly, but that's probably me that's thinking of something much more grueling.

Various monster nerfsGhostbreed wrote:Since when has Sarge added anything we wanted to Brutal Doom?
Removal of the extra zombie sounds
The underlying rationale for more than half the mutators available
Bunch of other changes over the past year
Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
About a year overdue with this. Not much of a Doom modder myself (mostly do stuff in Neverwinter Nights 2 here) so I didn't even have an account here, but the need to say this meant one had to be made.
THIS MOD...IS AWESOME.
Brutal Doom- along with After the Holocaust- has made for the most intense singe player FPS experience I have had in years, certainly capturing a stronger action and strangely, much stronger horror vibe than even Id's latest offerings. One can only hope that the Doom 4 team is taking notes from this mod...
Kudos Sarge, looking forward to more!

It's just COD, but with zombies
(Then you won't mind taking a two-week break from it, I'd hope. -mgmt)

To counter-argue your point: CoD doesn't have demons.
Your overgeneralizing the concept of Brutal Doom to an opinion equivalent to one of those kids who grew up with CoD rather than Doom or any other classic shooter from the 90s. It comes off as a ignorant and unspecified (in other words, you don't seemed to have played it for very long, and your not making any valid points to support your opinion).
Believe me, I could have been much harsher in regards to your comment, but I'm trying to be fair.

Not wanting to sound douchey, but when is the Ultimate Brutal Arsenal ready for download? I'm pretty much in eager to try it, and it should be released today.
