I larger clip size for the MP40 would be nice, I really have to reload it a lot and end up never using it, specially when I accidentaly pick up a MP40 during a fight with nazi soldiers.

Speaking of that, is there any way to turn off automatic weapon change when you pick it up for the first time? It's really annoying when I accidentaly pick up a berseker in a big fight

Also, any way add the option for the older zombie sounds? Nothing against the new voices, but I prefer the older sounds; an option to change them would be nice

so the first time you pick up the nazi rifle is in map31?
nevermind its use then. for those 2 maps i just dont care enough :)

if so, a proper mini gun alternative would be nice for the BD arsenal.

The MP40 is just a bonus weapon, it was never a serious part of the arsenal, just a weapon you could use optionally (especially since how little the Nazi's are actually used in Doom). A normal machine gun might be an idea to consider.

Definitely. Why not up the damage of the mp40 and have it drop regularly in the game. Like ca. 20 percent more damage/second than the shotgun?

Personally I would rather have something more like the Doom 3 machine gun, or at least the Doom alpha machine gun.

Please leave the arsenal as it is. The MP40 stays in the secret/bonus maps. The MP40 belongs to the Nazis.

If the magazine size is what the real MP40 had, then leave it be since the ammo type is used was 9mm.

It's fine for the regular campaign since they're only available for a couple of levels, but many user created wads do use nazis on the regular maps, I don't remember if final doom does that too.

I have been considering the idea of replacing nazis by a strong human enemy like rocket zombies or zombie marines, and making a separated patch that introduces the nazis. What you think about?

I think the strong humans should be in the separated pack

As do I. I like the Nazis, along with their awesome MP40s. I would like the Nazis to be the defaults, and the strong humans to be separate. Of course that's just me. You could start a poll about it, Sarge.

I strongly second this idea. Believe it or not, there are WADs out there that use the SS Nazis as something other than novelty/easter egg enemies (case in point, garrulo.wad.)

I don't think anyone could complain if there's the option to keep the nazis

An optional pack sounds like the best approach.
