(WIP) Doom: BioHazard

A Resident Evil styled mod, survival horror yes, i started working on this because im a freak of the old resident evils and doom so i got my friend, and we started working on this

EDIT: Decided to stick with the name 8-)

Wow, that looks really awesome! I've never really played Resident Evil before (or any of the games that copies it's style of gameplay).

Thanks! :D when we have the rest of the features added im going to make a few beta rooms and release the beta.

I hope you've got some kind of targeting system if you're doing 3rd person, or this is gonna be really tricky to control. Other than that, I like the UI, and it looks like it's decently done.

Wish i could say i did, :( ima try to devise a targeting system, but right now theres just a laser to show you what you're looking/aiming at and the weapons all shoot projectiles along with the laser so it actually helps ALOT and with autoaim on always it helps evin more

This is epic. From the looks of things, you've pretty much reworked the combat and overall feel. The inventory menu is impressive, and the hud is well designed. Very good work so far! :)
I'm definitely looking forward to this one!

The vid you saw on YouTube was an abandoned Resident Evil-like mod for Doom called Survival Doom.

Updated main post, added a gameplay video, its in the alpha map i made so im still not releasing it yet :(

Hmm, i think i might add that, never thought of it :) thanks for the idea!

EDIT: If you mean the rifle the characters sprite uses by default then, i am totally adding it, plus i can't find any one character sprite with a assault* rifle

Will this only be able to be played on the mod's maps or would it be also playable on regular maps?

I don't think it will, as he would have to change the perspectives in all 32 maps of doom 2.
