[Abandoned] DB2 ExtendedVisualMode Plugin

Extended Visual Mode - A DB2 Plugin

This has been rendered obsolete by CodeImps new plugin, it has implemented all features mine had, better.

Want it?

Unzip into Doombuilder's plugins directory. You can use this visual mode and the regular visual mode too.

Awesome. Really looking forward to using this. Aligning/rotating/scaling flats in 3D mode directly will be a godsend.

I'm thinking that for as many options are there are going to be with this, it might be worth considering some sort of editing palette so the user can easily pick "edit floor x scale" and then just drag the mouse or use the arrow keys to do it, until they click or something to finish that edit. Otherwise, no keyboard on earth could fit all the binds you'd need, and remembering them all would be a mess.

While the idea of the plugin is great, do you really have to write the first post in advertisement-sized large text? It's honestly kind of annoying.

Is it possible to raise/lower vertices in your extended visual mode, so mappers who use vertex slope things can easily edit their terrain?

(The sectors required for such terrain are usually triangular so I think there shouldn't be any problems there)

Oh and how about floor and ceiling rotating and scaling?

In other news... when I saw this thread, I shat bricks.
