Yea well I agree with you and the tutorials were useful for me, but if they're outdated its better to use the Zdoom wiki.

From the screenshots the maps look better, but is the beta old levels or new versions from screens?

I tested up to the second level.
You should really put some weapons, do you expect me to beat a arachnotron with only a pistol and a chainsaw?
Okay, meybe there's a shotgun in the second level, but this isn't sufficent.
Try to align your textures, they look awful.
Also the texturing in the third level was so weird and flickery i almost puked, change the textures, please.
The only thing i found good was the music.

Well, I've fixed a lot of stuff since the BETA. And I'm about halfway done the seventh map. Then when I finish the eighth, I'll put up a new beta.

With right amount of ammo and cover it's not only possible - it's easy. Also if I remember correctly I had a shotgun when I first met arachno and if I didn't, I probably had a crapload of bullets so the arachno wasn't a problem.

If you tested up to the second level, how do you know what the texturing in level 3 is :? ?

Well, I'm on MAP07, right now. I'll release a BETA2 when I finish MAP08, I'm also aiming for 10 maps + 2-3 Secret maps.

You can almost think that your one of the orginal mappers for doom 2. The maps are really, really good. But you might wanna extend the first level with more rooms.
