SpriTool is an automatic image renaming program designed to work with the Doom sprite naming standard.
What does SpriTool do exactly?
SpriTool loads images saved in various folders and renames them based on 2 states you define, actions being performed, and what frames encompass what action, and then add's the direction to the name based on how many directions you tell the program to utilize.
I created SpriTool to help with QuakenDoom 2, because after renaming over 1,000 images after 6 long hours, with many errors i realized that if i programmed a tool to do it for me, it would give me perfect results in a matter of a couple minutes of configuring and a couple seconds of compiling.
You can create sprite collections with thousands of images, 1,8, or 16 directional items, mirrored or non mirrored sprites. You can set the frames for various actions the sprite can perform, up to 26 actions with max 676 frames each.
If you guys have any questions or suggestions for future versions feel free to let me know your thoughts.
