Re: Cool mods people might have missed.
I'm looking for some kind of generic all-purpose "monster enhancements" wad. Just something to kinda fill in the gaps and add in a lot of the extra "stuff" that's been compiled over the years--Pinky gibs (the good one, not the shitty one), various Zombieman/shotgun alt deaths, Pinky altdeath with the arm ripping off, etc. I'd love it if these things were already in the same place and I wouldn't have to compile it myself--not that I lack the skills, but why reinvent the wheel when they're giving them out down the street?
I know brootul doom has most of those but it's got all that massive gore bullshit plus weapons mods (I prefer to use my own) and other unnecessary crap; I want this to stay mostly vanilla and only really be a little enhancement mod.
Thanks in advance.

What are some of the best mods for lighting enhancements? I'm looking for anything that is compatible with Zandronum. I have the Sbrightmaps from the GZDoom install and i use Brutal Doom which i understand adds some lighting stuff but is there anything else i can do to enhance it ?
Re: Cool mods people might have missed.
Are there mods that just replace monsters for recolored or new ones? If they also change weapons it would be fine too.
Oh, and is there some mod that gives bows from Ghouls vs Humans? It would be great for Forsaken Overlook.

I was looking for an immense map that reacreated a whole east european city (if I remember wright), with tons of custom texture, and a stratosferic level of detailing, published several years ago... but I can't remember the name of the wad... Anyone can help me?

Yes! Thanks!wolfman wrote: Dawn of Reality?
(And beside, that's a wad people should try. )

Play Dawn of Reality with Project MSX for maximum difficulty. It's so hard to survive the start of the map. XDSoloSpaghetti wrote:Yes! Thanks!wolfman wrote: Dawn of Reality?

Well... I was playing it with a "particular" version of our mod... And, let's say that is hard to survive to the start of the map in this way too.

Does anyone know this .wad?
The setting is like 1800's and every few moments you have to get into a bunker because of an earth quake or bombs being dropped or something like that, you start the game by climbing off a boat you walk down a path and get to a big gate were there are 1800 type houses. there also a circus and a old church.
If you want to know more please tell me and i'll explain more.

..and now probably one of the most underrated doom ever made:
"Codename Hyenia: killer machine"
Maded betwenn 1994 and 1998, it' avaible only for Doom, but works with "native" ports such as chocolate doom and prbbom. Won't work with gzdoom/zdoom. Geti it at doomworld.com or at the Unholy Software homepage. There's also other cool stull/mods even!

Does anyone know any horror based mods where you fight vampires or zombies?
