Woo! Actually beat Doom 2 with Monster Mayhem. Took 4 hours, but I had lots of fun. Using the flight runes during the last two levels were godsends.

I'm thinking of playing the other official WADs with MM, too.

Congrats. ;) But actually, I've only beat Doom, and Doom II twice. I've been extremely busy lately. And the only game in the Quake series I've ever beaten is Quake III. I need that spring break.

Both coding mirrors are broken, megaupload for obvious reasons and the other one. Can someone reupload please? And sorry if this has been answered already but can you cheat now without barbie girl and pink overlay. I really would just like to test out all the guns and everything.

**Edit nvm I see the option now (playing the old version while the new one downloads)

Was Phoenix Bird changed in v. 6? In older versions it killed the player instantly, but in v. 6 it does approx. 150% damage and does not kill.

That's a bug. It should kill everything in the level, and break your desk too.

(the quote was just to see if the "captain" part gets quoted too)

Hey everyone. Having a bit of an issue with AeoD 6. Well two really, not sure if they are related by I don't think so.
Number one is that the game locks up after a little while of playing. That, not sure, I don't get any error messages, it just stops responding and windows tells me it has stopped responding. Wondering if maybe I shouldn't be using the latest GZdoom or something along those lines? I was having trouble before, and saw a link sending people to the prototype builds so I guess it might be something with that.
The other thing is when I go into player setup, I can't change my class. I know I had that issue in 5, and fixed it but I can't remember for the life of me what I did.
The only class available is aeons of Death Marine, the only skin is base. I remember there being all sort of classes though, was rather partial to the robot.
Any pointers on what it is I've done wrong for the class thing at least, and what version of GZdoom runs this in a stable manner?

Is it any chance to release any patch or expansion which may include some monsters that are neglected/removed in 6th edition? (Hellsmith,scourge etc)?For the sake of being absolutely complete :)

@Bormac: Like ArchXeno mentioned, there are not more classes, since this time I wanted to focus in real options to change the gameplay (i.e. the themes), rather than just speed/health changes (the classes). And the freezing could be indeed related to an engine bug (reference).

@atar: Sorry, but that's a huge "no". I removed all the bestiary/DE monsters because I wanted to get rid of them once and for all. There's no way at all that I will bring them back.

Eh... Are you suggesting to create a compilation, which includes "best of the bestiary monsters" ? The mod is already a compilation, but one that is now purposefully excluding those monsters. Is a personal guarantee when I say that those monsters aren't coming back into AEoD.

I'd suggest to try the beastiary randomizer (I forgot the name) if you guys want to play with those monsters. But other than that, is a definitive "goodbye" for them in AEoD.
