Yes, AEOD already has been made to look more like other games than doom, they have gone really far in that regard. I've run into some odd problem. In the customise controls menu, there's an option to drop weapons, but no option to toggle weapon slot limits. Though if I try to drop a weapon to swap it from something else. It'll still say "Slot # Full".

Here is the fixed MENUDEF.AED, just copy the stuff and paste over the stuff in the current MENUDEF.AED lump.
In case if you're wondering what that stuff is about statistics, it's just for changing your coloring above the max 200 health for the huds (i.e. making your health turn red when you reach 100, yellow if 199, green if 300, blue if higher than green, etc) along with ammo.

Update your ZDoom/GZDoom version to the latest SVN build and try again.
That error message tells you it expected a parameter list to end here (the ')' it expected) but instead there was a comma separator for another parameter (the ',' it got). This happens whenever a new optional parameter is added to a function, and a mod using it is loaded with an old version without this feature.

Hello, I have the same problem as OmegaJ4. Fixed MENUDEF.AED like Major Cooke said, checked everything for updates, still have the problem.

Keep in mind, menudef does NOT alter your currently bound keys. You'll have to go in and rebind the key as it's probably still bound to the old dropweap command.
