okay I made this thread so I wont plump up ghastly's thread and think he doesnt like it XD

Now Im planned long time ago to make doom 3 wep reload better...but then i abandon it,to help d3wep with my pals Ghastly_dragon and Doomero. Now this time, im going back to my dust project n hope this time around i can finish it! Like my friend ghastly, i hope ppl may use this for their own mod n see what they come up with...a nuke pistol or something.( with proper crediting)

Im trying to achieve the feeling of old school sprites n new weps. I will recycle the old sprites that Doom 2.5 team have made, since many people like em and its easier using them as a base along side other sprites.

Also I will make a "railgun" sprites (using the plasma gun as a base and heavely modfiying it ) and the so called "bio force gun" or BFG

So far i'v gotten the pistol completed now the boom stick..

Pistol: 100%

Credit to Doom 2.5 Team for the pistol sprite and xXx for his laser pointer reload pistol

So yeah i think i finally nailed it...after looking back at it when i was done...i found that i messed up/forgot some details now i think this is it...its perfect. The animation is smooth i edit the others parts (with this sprite of course) and its great now....spend some time on detail placing the frame..and im confident its looks good now

The fingers on the front of the grip should be moved a little bit so it doesn't look like part of the fingers are inside the grip and the barrel is self should be longer in reload frames.

hmmm i see what you mean by the fingers...ill try my best to edit that...orginally the grip was the base and i didnt touch that part, but i guess i have to lol

and by the barrel you mean nose? or the middle cylinder...the base was the same length and yeah...i tryed enlarging the nose but it didnt look so good... anyone is welcome to edit it to make it better lol

i wish i can upload the wad file for this ...to show a better view

k is that better??? i re-edit the final XD..how is it now?

Last 1 was close..but it had think out line and some parts didnt connect compared to the base..so i tryed to configure it with that..and eid the nose cuz it seem not fitting now...i think this is right.....iono ill prolly check tomarrow and see if its right..if not ill re-edit it agian!! lol just when i thought i was done.

EDIT: now looking at it i think it needs a bit light gray n the back peice move back a lil...but this can be the middle of cocking the gun back.

thanks, ill work on that...i see what you mean ..i think i should raise the bottom a bit so it close to the D2.5 bottom length...you think so too? n shade it some more to give it a shape...my comp screens is kinda messed up so what you think?

yeah i agree, lol looks kinda weird, the base had it that way anyways...but ill try to make a better grip...maybe i can whiten it and get the old old odd pistol grip i used and fill it in with that.

ummmmm....kinda.... yeah i guess... i think ppl might want to play it with the new monsters, you know? for kicks. like not old school weps might be hmm...weird..iono..but yeah i hope ppl play this with the the RoE monster pack

well i had an idea of the shotgun ..since the one in the pack is an alpha ( iono if ppl like it over mine..but ) here is the

Redux of the D3 SG ( 50% done)

Need to do:
-fix the right side so it wont look like a lazy block of black..(add depth to the right)
-finish the head of the shotgun
-put that thingy on the side that slides when you pump the shotgun
-polish the "holes" or grooves on the shotgun
