Quite a generic name, yep. If you don't like overused graphics, go ahead and and leave.

Anyway, this is a weapon mod that is quite different. Look at the below screens.

Yes, those are the same weapons. If you don't know what I mean, check the ammo types. If you still don't get it, doesn't it strike you odd that the regular DOOM supershotgun uses clips? (In actuality, none of those use clips. I just did those screen with that for the sake of showing off. :P)

Now, you may be wondering how all of those are the same weapons. Take a look at the top-left corner. In the COP Derringer (actually 4shot in the wad) screenshot, there's an M. In the Quad Shotgun screenshot (room cleaner) there's a V. And in the SSG screenshot, nothing. I'll leave it to you to figure out what that means.

In the meantime, you can control the letter (limited to M, V, and a blank) that appears there by pressing the key that is bound to them, which is defaulted to Z, C, and X, respectively.

Now, if you haven't figured it out, the M, V, and blank refer to what gun you have selected. Blank is always the standard DOOM version of the gun. There's no standard to the M or V, though.

Here's a list of the guns:
Fist
M: Fast Feet - Super powerful feet allowing you to burst through a level in a few seconds, if you keep control of course.
V: Flying Knee - Unleash your beat-em-up roots with a double jump! Plus a knee instead of a fist.
Chainsaw
M: Incredible Ripping Rubber Chainsaw - It's as awesome as it sounds. Remember the throwable chainsaw from Deathz0r's awesome OMGWEAPS.wad? This is it, except with bouncing. Causes you to lose the Chainsaw after use.
V: Scattergun - A monochrome gun of 1-bit destruction. It shoots a ball that explodes into many small ones. 5 clips per shot.
Pistol
M: Singleshot - 4shot except without rape and rapid fire. Uses 5 clips.
V: Rapid Pistol - Pistol that's less accurate but with less recoil allowing faster shooting. 1 clip per shot. Probally going to be replaced.
Shotgun
M: Sniper Rifle - A super-accurate gun. When you put it over a target, there's a beep. 1 shell, 5 clips.
V: Auto Shotgun - Fast version of the shotgun, reloads after 6 shots. 1 shell per shot.
SSG
M: 4shot - Think Auto Shotgun, but more random with the number of actual shots within a burst and also reload after only 4 shots. 2 shells per shot.
V: Room Cleaner - Rapid SSG with a long cool down. 2 shells per shot.
Chaingun
M: Uzi - Chaingun on crack and long cool down. 2 clips per burst.
V: Trishot - Yep, three (four if you count my SSG nickname) guns that end in shot. Oh well. Three rotating barrels allow quick shotgun-ish firing. 1 shells and 3 clips per burst.
Rocket Launcher
M: Archflame - Six-shot burst and then an explosion! 3 cells and 1 rocket per shot.
V: Deathzone Launcher - The Archflame's bigger brother, except without the burst. 5 rockets per shot.
Plasma Gun
M: Proton Launcher - Cannon might have been better. Meh. Fires a stream of weak-but-fast plamsa that home in a bit. 1 cell per burst.
V: Railgun - That poweful ripping weapon, you knew it would be in here. This one is multi-colored, and won't let you shoot unless you point at something, thanks to that computer terminal on the side. 2 cells per shot.

And for the sake of it

To-do list:
-MV modes for the BFG9k. Almost done here.
-Maybe make the MV counter in a more LCD-display-ish.
-Various other touch-ups.

Oh wow, it does. I need to test my weapons on things other than MAP01.

Anyway, fixed in the new version. I'll release that as soon as I find a good V mode for the pistol.

Hey, looks pretty nice and fun to play - it could lend itself to some interesting tactics with all those different weapon types.

Most of the alternative weapons need more delays. I know you need them for balance but it just makes the user just not want to let go of fire. Also what's up with the kicking thing for type Z (or the other one)? I couldn't hurt anyone and it just looked funny :P

It's not actually kicking; it's more like Sonic's Super Peel Out in Sonic CD, where he charges up and starts running at ludicrous speeds.

Beta 1.6, first of the releases to only have one weapon. Get used to this.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it but the knee idea is really badass and I'm going to do a melee weapon where if you're already in the air you get a double jump with the attack. It's gonna be AWESOME. I hope that trick is achievable with the DECORATE purity I crave...

I just viewed how you are figuring out whether the actor is on a floor... A_CheckFloor, sweeeeet (jumping was the easy part)
