Code: Select all
Script error, "SBARINFO" line 66:
Expected ';' but got ',' instead.
Randy has confirmed (as I suspected) that my SBARINFO is no longer working due an intentional change to the code between SVN revisions. That's the risk I took when releasing something based on an unofficial version of Zdoom. Zdoom 2.2.0 is now official and the standard for SBARINFO is, presumably, set.
I'm really not in a position to re-upload the whole mod so for anyone who might want the fix provided for them in an (I hope) easy format, grab the following file:
http://www.zen64060.zen.co.uk/zzfix.wad
That tiny WAD contains nothing more than a fixed SBARINFO. I called it zzfix.wad to deliberately place it at the end of any file loading methods that sort things alphabetically. That way, in most cases, it should be the last file loaded - which means that it will overwrite the SBARINFO in the main PK3.
I just tried 2 things:
1) I selected the original project PK3 and the fix wad and dropped them on to GZdoom. GZdoom started no bother.
2) I put the fix WAD into the main PK3 and loaded that and, again, GZdoom started no bother.
You can, of course, load it from the command line, or using a launcher. Just make sure it gets loaded after njbgpabh.pk3
Finally, the more adventurous amongst you can extract burghead.wad from njbgpabh.pk3, transfer the SBARINFO from zzfix.wad into burghead.wad and then put burghead.wad back into the pk3.
