I just found this TC today. What an awesome project!!! Me and a friend started playing Level one Wolfenstein in coop mode. Everything worked perfectly until one of us died. Once I died (or my friend), I respawned back at my original start spot but I couldn't move, shoot, etc. I could hit escape to go to the menu but I couldn't get my player to move at all. I've looked through a lot of the posts but I haven't found anyone else with this issue. Is there a command line I need to put in? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Unfortunately the multiplayer implementation is still very buggy... I wanted to wait for a ZDoom release to come up with a 100% fixed, working version. Unfortunately, that won't happen for a while, since I'm in the Middle East right now...

This is a nice conversion, but call me stupid or not, I would really appreciate an option to turn on floor and ceiling textures - even when those were not included in the original game. I don't know why, but shooters without those textures make me almost puke after a few minutes of gameplay. I also need HUD bobbing back (but I can do that via the inis by myself). Probably I am spoiled by the more modern shooters, but I would really appreciate if you could do something about it. ;)

Hi,
Great mod. Playing Wolfenstein 3D with mouselook is very cool.

I'm wondering if anyone has the remaining sprites from the Macintosh port (health/treasure/weapon pick-ups, HUD weapons, environment sprites (bones, tables, etc.) and whatnot) so that I can add them to the mod along with the other textures available to make a high-res version of the mod?

EDIT: Figuring out how to obtain the sounds from the Mac/Jaguar releases would also be very useful for this...

I do agree with NightFright that floor and ceiling textures would be very nice (I could possibly add them myself in my changes.) I also always play with view bob turned on. Seeing the flamethrower and bazooka added to the maps would also be nice, although an alternate route that could be taken is to port the First and Second Encounters somehow, which already have these 2 weapons.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: Here's what I have done so far:

This TC rocks! If I didn't already know it, I would think I was playing a Wolfenstein port rather than a TC, that's how good it is!

Just one little bug I noticed (it isn't major but could still be tweaked). If you open a secret wall the part of the wall slides up like it's supposed to but if you do it a second time, it slides up even further into the ceiling. Also, is it possible to make secret "push" walls act like they do in the original, where they slide into the wall and reveal the secret room instead of sliding up into the ceiling?

I was once attempting to remake Laz Rojas' Operation Arctic Wolf for GZDoom, but unfortunately the project fell through due to lack of interest (and because most of the team were also busy with KDIZD).

Speaking of that, are there any resources left over? I'm actually working on something similar, but it is with the original SOD levels, and any usable resources would be helpful.

Tiny examples? Like fancy particle effects for guns, better blood, etc?

What I'm looking at here is
:Map changes:Add flats, fog in areas where it would fit, A true sky instead of the crappy texture that was used, Weather (Mostly in that one level Ramparts), and other things to enchance the atomsphere
:Enhanced Weapons:The weapons will be based off weaponary you saw back in 194x
:Enhanced Effects:(This part was mostly randomly inspired by KeksDose ZDRP)What the effects will apply to I am still working on, but the rockets fired by bosses will look better, tracer rounds coming out of machine guns, ect.

So yeah, it is quite a lot, but I should be able to produce something good.
