The quantity harms the gameplay too. For example you can skip the shotgun pump sequence by switching to one of your other (redundant and overpowered) shotguns for more than twice the fire rate. The only shotgun that you can't bypass their reloading is Duke's double barrel. seriously what kind of oversight is that

and ijon's right, the wad could be smaller, and I like to download wads that are hundreds of megs in size because 1. they don't last very long in circulation and 2. obvious signs of design incompetence (An oversized wad is a guaranteed trainwreck, no exceptions). and no, those amounts of redundant weaponry do not justify a 200mb size for something that would be 20mb at best when done without space padding content irrelevant to gameplay. Hyped up Doom PWADs with streaming music making up 77% of its content (or greater) tends to end badly.


only one thing impressed me in this thing: Functional laser tripmines...except why the hell is Duke holding the tripmines off the tip of his fingers???

You know, it's generally considered not very cool to virally market your mod on an anonymous imageboard. You could've at least tried to not make it so obvious that it's you. How do you manage to blow the cover of anonymity so easily?

Ugh... :( The download link seems no more accessible...
I was downloading, and it stopped at 98%... I'd resume my download with FDM if it was copied again in its original location! :)
