I dont like Dual Guns, only pistols are reasonable, but, all dual? not please. Adds an option please.
Dual BFG? :mrgreen:

More important in the mod is the verticality: double jump, ledge grab.
Double Jump and Parkmore mutators. Esentials for Doom 4 experience :wub: :twisted:

Well, Doom Slayer should be able to also dual wield Repeaters, HARs, SSGs (but they should be slow to reload), Plasmaguns, Lightning Guns and Hellshots. He has a powered armour after all. On the other hand, Rocket Launcher, Chaingun, Gauss Cannon and BFG are way too big in size for this (weight is not really a problem, as he can fire an almost 50 kg minigun, but those guns are simply to big to use single-handed), and Combat Shotgun needs pumping. I agree that two Rocket Launchers is too much.

SSSSSSG? I believe that would be a "ExaShotgun". Or, alternatively, maybe a "Dreadnought" Shotgun, because you would absolutely had nothing to fear with it.

In response to the dual wielding ideas: I am 99% sure that DBThanos and Major Cookie want to make a balanced mod, not some crazy and overkill mod that makes you go berserk with such weaponry (and even if they did, they would probably do it in an addon, like what they stated with the dual SSGs).

The SSG looks very similar to it, yes, but the other weapons are identical to the actual things, not just similar.
I'm not trying to be a picky douche, I'm just saying that it's strange that the other guns are 100% accurate (probably rips, I assume?) while the SSG looks like it's been made from scratch.

I do not think they are rips, just sprites modeled after Doom 4 original weapons (the actual rips are in Zion). Also, about SSG, you are not being a douche at all - this SSG is noticeably different from the one in Doom 4. It is more blackish and lacks ornaments (I suspect they in particular would be really highly time consuming to recreate, so I am not blaming the author at all).

Man I can not wait to play it, probably a mod I will spend a lot of time on...well that when I don't have to work on ZION but yea, I missed the beta testing well only 7 more days to go.

I'd like to help but I've yet to learn how to propery doom-ify things.
Though I'm thinking that the D4 SSG rips could be used as a base for drawing the sprites.

Edit:
I tried mixing the current SSG with the actual D4 one. But as I said, I don't really know how to give sprites a proper Doom feel, so...

Anyways, I tried leaving the central piece with the original barrel size.
Didn't look right, so in the second (middle) one I adjusted the center piece to more or less fit the barrel size.
As an alternative, the third (right) one is the opposite: The central part is the same size as the left sprite, and I increased the barrel width instead.

@Vriska, that's a pretty nice shotgun you have going there! While we're beyond the point of adding more content, I may definitely consider those for a future expansion, if we have any.

I know. I merely wanted to clarify what DBT didn't exactly say, which is you couldn't even speak a word of the internal workings.

It's an NDA agreement. Also if you're on the beta team, why aren't you on discord?
