And at last the class that feeds into my one strength [word that means opposite of incompetence and abject failure but not quite that far] - plinking off little guys with rapid-fire weapons from a very safe distance - no longer makes me want to vomit!

This is indeed enjoyed. YAYAYYAYAYYYYYYAAAA ::mashes use key against exit door, time taken goes from under par to twice as long::

More seriously, BFG freeaiming is borked in the ZDoom version: It will always fire straight ahead regardless if freeaiming is allowed or not. This is because the script checks against sv_bfgfreeaim which doesn't exist in ZDoom (The BFG freeaim thing is DMFlags2 256 in ZDoom)

Zandronum appears to implement it as both the aforementioned DMFlag AND the cvar (Image)

EDIT: OK, further problem. DMFlags2 256 in ZDoom DISABLES BFG freeaim, where as it ENABLES it in Zandronum.

Can you make a proper version of 10x.wad, like Brutal Doom did? Because some weapons won't work with some multiplied monsters (try to shoot an imp with a (wolf3d) chaingun!)...

I like this new version, and I'm looking forward to the full Strife compatibility :D
Do you have any plans of making Samsara compatible with HACX 1.2?
Btw, I noticed that the rapid zorcher pickup in Chex's Quest 3 is not replaced by the Samsara equivalent, and that the armored flemoid (ArmoredFlemoidusBipedicusV3) dies a 'zorch' death when killed by any of Duke's bullet-based weapons.
I updated my Macintosh Wolf3D sprite replacement wad, the file can be found here (Thanks again to WildWeasel for the sounds!).

Well. I'd have to make an add-on wad, since A: the lack of inherent unique actors, B: All the actors inheriting from Doom actors, and C: Using Dehacked to modify them means that Decorate borks them up entirely. Buuuuut that being said, it would be really interesting to do, and probably would whet people's appetites for HacX 2.0. I'll give it a try and see how it works!

Note: The Security Officer don't get any ammo from Chainguns, dropped or placed. Dropped shotguns works, as well dropped ammo cases by zombies.

I also made a sprite replacement wad for Duke's pistol and explosive shotgun (idle and first firing frame) as well, can be found here.

Edit: found a bug (ZDoom) where duke's shotgun and chaingun, whose projectile actors inherits from DukePistolBullet, also inherits the same damage type ('DukePistol'). These actors are DukeShotgunBullet, DukeShotgunBulletCoop, DukeRipperBullet, and DukeRipperBulletCoop.
It can be fixed by adding the property DamageType "DukeDamage" to these actors in decorate/duke/slot2.dec and slot4.dec.

The same also goes for any weapon pickup equivalent to slots 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7. The assault rifle and missile launcher, unlike the other weapons, get both their magazines refilled when a weapon of the same slot gets picked up (50 rounds added to the assault rifles' bullet magazine with each pickup).

Edit 2: Blazkovicz's extra life doesn't work in ZDoom singleplayer (haven't checked in Zandronum).

A new version of the Duke weapons replacement wad is released, now with all of the explosive shotgun sprites replaced. This will probably be the final version.

Edit: Damn, forgot to update the link :|, fixed.
