  • Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
  • If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?
  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?
If you answered no to all three, maybe you should consider taking your stuff somewhere other than the Resources forum.

Thanks, I appreciate the support! Also, I should have The Silencer finished within the next couple days or so. :P

The Silencer sprite deserves a Cacoward.

Haha, thanks! And last I heard, somebody at the Skulltag forums is working on a new Crash skin.

It's about time. From the sprites to the sounds to the [censored word] bot chatfile, it's lame.

IIRC Marty Kirra was doing a Crash skin; although it might have been just a Doomgirl replacement.

Quality work :)

What programs are you using to create these?
I've actually been looking into trying spite editing myself by creating a plasma zsec-specops. I'm familiar with other parts of editing like decorate and map making, though in sprite editing I'm going forward very slowly. Also, I'd have asked you this in a PM but I'm not allowed to yet.

Thanks

His Snake Plissken skin already looks a lot like MGS2 Snake, but the Mad Max skin (when he's done) should be pretty easy to mod if you need a younger, cleaner-cut Snake circa MGS1; add bandanna, make the brown hair black, and you're pretty much done.

Alright! After much delay, I've finally buckled down and finished the skin for the Silencer! It's been a long time coming, but I think it turned out pretty well.

Haha, perhaps. I'm just taking a breather after finishing the Silencer, i've been a bit burned-out on skins for a while.

Haha, that wouldn't be too hard after I finish Ash, since I already have the Bruce Campbell head down. :P
