[MD] Mapper's Delight: a Visual Terrain Editor

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Has there been any progress on this?
I guess...not an awful lot.

mmm, yeah, no progress in a while, sorry... too busy with "real life." =/

Thing is, it's in a nearly releaseable state, and Ventris said his brother actually would be willing to work on it, which I totally forgot about until now. Somebody remind me about that later, I gotta write up some stuff (what's not done, design goals, etc) if I'm gonna hand it off until I'm less busy.

Most of the hard stuff is actually done, so it's mostly loose ends that need tying up. I can already use it just fine as it is, mostly <_<

Hand it off? He said he would help, not take over, Spidey.

EPIC NECROBUMP WARNING [insert arch-vile here]

Sorry to do this, but I was wondering if any progress at all had been made on this in the last two years or if anyone was planning on picking it up. I've been using Grubber's Zterrain for my latest project, and it's killing me, honestly (slope artifacts, poor UDMF conversion, all kinds of stuff). I emailed Grubber about that planned update he was going to do, but haven't heard anything yet. I didn't even know this existed until I started looking, but it seems like there's tons of potential here. Does anyone know if there's any plans to continue this, update it to UDMF, etc?

Again, sorry for the bump.

8-)

If necrobumps could resurrect dead projects too, then the world would be a better place

This does look promising. Can he at least compile what he has right now?

It's been a while since we've seen BHS. I think he's very busy with other stuff or just disappeared...
