Decals on floors and ceilings anyone?
Just as the title says.

The flat rendering engine simply doesn't support decals. There was talk, way back when I was a genuine n00b to ZDoom, of some fabled engine rewrite entitled PolyMost that would facilitate such features, and all other kinds of cool stuff besides. Unfortunately, it appears to be in dev hell for good.
Nash did a cool workaround in GZDoom with ultra-thin 3d splat models that fell to the floor when the actor bled. That's probably the closest you can get at the moment, but it's hardly efficient.

Actually, PolyMost is better integrated in ZDoom than DoomScript and the rest of the stuff you cited.
