A DECALDEF FOR FLOOR/CEILING

Post by dax13 »

Hello guys !

Yepp!.. I/We could need a lump which allows (like DECALDEF) to put some sprites/images on the floor and ceiling..

that would be something !!!

Imagine you shoot someone down and blood streams out of the corpse :).. If the blood would be something like a sprite which scales bigger and bigger ... weao!! That would be amazing.. NOT?
OR even bulletpuffs on the floor and ceiling... that would be nice 2 :)
Am I dreaming?

You've already been told this can't be done, so I'm not sure why you're requesting it again.

EDIT: not to mention that this is one of the most frequently shot-down feature suggestions in ZDoom. http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=14664

Although GZDoom with almost flat models can achieve the same affect.

Should this see the light of day, why would it ever need a new lump? The existing decal definitions are hardly wall-exclusive (aside from the smearing blood).

Come on, that's nowhere near suitably overboard.
