Monster Hitscans: TRACKOWNER Flag

A_CustomMissile has a TRACKOWNER flag for transferring the caller's firer to the new missile. Would it be practical to add a similar flag to A_CustomRailgun and A_CustomBulletAttack? This would be very useful for special damage effects.

Hitscans/Puffs need to be brought up to par with projectiles in many ways, this will help greatly

Couldn't you just make a fast projectile? (I've seen many mods with tracers that represent bullets or any other hitscan attack.)

Fast projectiles aren't instant.

Also, they can get caught on scenery etc where a hitscan would not.

... Which still makes the callling projectile the "owner" of the attack, and by that flag the target of the spawned puff.
