*sigh*
I guess that over the years, I've just became far too cynical to see why should MLP gore bother me. I really see no difference between "RD drawn eviscerated by some unnamed MLP hater" and "RD cut in half by a chainsaw in a parody video". Thanks for trying to explain it, though.

That game reminded me of "Super Turkey Turbo Puncher" in Doom 3. Probably just a coincidence, though.

Shutterfly?

speaking of which, there was some contest a while back ago when someone on Hasbro mentioned Fluttershy, but typo'd and made it say Shutterfly instead. said contest was about making a drawing of Shutterfly, i dunno whatever happened to that contest, but there is this video:

Kinda creepy, but it at least has a decent rendition of Honey B's Hive from Banjo-Tooie, though I could be wrong about which Banjo game it is.

So another high-profile "brony-hating" article came out yesterday:

http://www.somethingawful.com/d/awfulvi ... php?page=1

I regularly read such "anti-MLP" stuff, because it is sometimes delightfully caustic or witty. Sadly, this SA article isn't the case. But text on page 3 really got stuck in my memory - no matter how I try look at it, it simply sounds like the truth:

The initial lead writer for MLP:FIM was Lauren Faust (who's writing credits include - surprise! - the Powerpuff GIrls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends). Faust, a staunch feminist, signed onto the project hoping to address some of her concerns over the rampant sexism in the My Little Pony franchise, and good on her for it. She has, though, been oddly silent regarding her creation becoming jack off fodder for the autist patriarchy. Perhaps the clickity clank, clickity clank of money going into her piggy bank has drowned out the sound of thousands of sperglords feverishly "clopping" over her show's "plot".

I mean, her response to the glorified child horse snuff porn of Scootabuse was basically "haha, oh you guys! The other ponies are a little hard on Scootaloo but in more of a 'big sister' way!". A stunning rebuke indeed. Patriarchy Status: Smashed.

Regardless, she has since stepped down and now plans to direct a documentary on the Brony phenomenon which only goes to show that one person's totally understandable - dare I say noble? - crusade against sexism in children's media is another person's sexist, pedo-tastic, autistic cash cow and that both of those hypothetical people are the same person in this case.

AwfulVision salutes you, Lauren Faust, for fighting the good fight against sexism until the exact moment it became financially viable not to!

Link to this article is spreading like a firestorm through all MLP-related sites, but nobody seems to try to disprove the claims above. And that silence is somewhat unsettling. So what do you think, guys? Is that true or not?

You do realize that SomethingAwful is intended primarily as a humor/satire site, right?

Yes. But those 4 paragraphs just feel like an accurate description of what has happened with Faust to me. And considering how (over)reactive MLP fanbase usually is, it is kind of hard to believe all of them just dismiss the article as "another satire". At least I find that hard to believe, that is... :-/
