Spoiler:
Trying to pose characters with Source Filmmaker, but this is new territory for me. Everything's turning out all unnatural and it only looks right from a few angles and everything. heh

I do like how easy it is to make a quick render though, and the animation stuff seems really intuitive, which is nice.

I also quite like how dynamic the Sniper's campervan from Meet the Sniper is. Most of the elements on it are separate joints so you can animate them in action (like the doors, steering wheel, all four wheels, the gearstick, and whatnot), even though you never see many of them actually get animated in Meet the Sniper.

I had the wackiest dream ever.
I dreamt that this little girl in my neighbourhood got a new cell phone which accidentally got linked to her... PUKE-IT CARD and thus she was puking all the time until the POLICE came and removed a pimple from her face.

DON'T ASK, I DON'T KNOW!
Though this Puke-it card sounds intriguing.

Made potstickers from some leftover chinese food. Hella time consuming, but man are they delicious.
I suck at making them though; I have to use two wrappers each, otherwise they disintegrate before I can get them in the pan

Fun stuff today, my e-mail account got broken into because I was forced into changing the password. I changed it to the one that was stolen because I didn't know which one was stolen. Who thinks to look up what of their passwords was stolen?

I guess it depends? Generic password thieves, ones that aren't specifically targeting you as a person, are probably going to just going to farm stolen passwords up until they can set some bots out into the wild to brute force entry into difference services with their stolen password database. So if you get a email like, "Dear customer, we had a database break-in. Please change your password," then it's probably a safe idea to retire that password permanently. Their no reason for the thieves to throw it out, that's for sure.

The thing is they stole a password tied to an account that was different than the one I was led to believe it had been stolen from. Yahoo made it sound like my yahoo e-mail had been compromised when it HADN'T. It was the Associated Content account that was actually compromised and I wish that had been made a lot more clear. That's the sort of reason why I just changed the e-mail account from Yahoo entirely as well. The confusion led me to retire the wrong password!

I extracted phenomes out of Pocket Fighter story dialogue (Japanese PSX version) and pieced them to form engrish sentences.

it turned out bad, kind of Operation Flashpointesque, but the accent's there.

so i just counted how much music i've bought the past few days. i got to 70 records: 60 CDs, 9 cassettes, and one LP. wheee music.
also i got the RAGE comic-book from a sci-fi store here in Sweden yesterday. it's good stuff and made me aware of the game's plot despite not having played the game yet. haven't found the time to read it all yet, though. i got to page 40 on the train home.

-While the imp's general structure is good, the proportions are off between the parts of the arm, his claws seem a bit too long and the hand seems to be in a weird/position rotation. He's a bit too slim at the waist. The jawline is very bad :P
-Imp's fireball looks more like an orb, I think it should illuminate his body more, too. The wound on the thigh looks be pasted on.
-Marine's right hand's thumb should be on the cocking handle instead of under - that's the way you hold a shotgun
-While the grass has it's pattern, it feels like grass, it's very pasted on - even flat planes(if it's supposed to be one) should have some shading :)
-The mountains look more like a lump of clay - they should be shaded differently - harsh edges are the thing that make the rocky look - try to make it more blocky looking and bring that through the shading - think of the mountain more like an construct of cubes mangled together for example
-The pitch blackness of the base in the background is totally out of place - it's inconsistent with the shading and overall light level of the rest of the scene
-The background in general looks like a cardboard cutout - there's not enough depth/layers, and nothing interesting perspective wise - adding more background stuff should be enough - first thing what comes to my mind, is painting another set of mountains in the back - you could paint them using the exactly same colours that the more foreground ones, and then pick a colour from the sky, and make a 50% (or other, experiment!) fill for a quick and quite good looking mist/air perspective
-The perspective suggest that the skull in the corner is a very big skull, not a skull close to the viewer/camera. At least it seems so to me, that it's in the same plane as the marine :)
-More uniform/themed colour scheme could really boost the atmosphere of the picture - right now, it seems it's coloured like a colouring book - the armour is supposed to be blue, so it's blue, the grass green so it's painted green - it seems you don't take into account things like the light in the scene, planet's atmosphere, time of the day etc. all of which are things which can shift colour a fair bit
-Hopefully the title is a placeholder - the text, and the box around is plain awful, sorry

Hope that's helpful and not assholish :) cheers!

I've had it with ATI for good (maybe AMD?). I bought a game which appeared to require me to update my graphics card driver. So I downloaded the latest one but from the moment my eyes saw it was a "beta driver" I had my doubts. So I installed it, rebooted and no shit, it messed up and turned hardware acceleration to zero. I spent literally hours trying prior versions, stepping multiple months back at a time, but all the same problem, when I finally gave up and decided to stick with my old driver. I wanted to file a complaint in their online form, but my model WASNT EVEN IN THE LIST of models (HD 4730)! Man, am I upset! :x And it's not the first time I've run into the same issue either...

Also wikipedia just owes me a whole night of sleep cuz I had none but I learned about the four most severe school shootings and the recent movie theatre shooting. Eh.
