Tell me... Why in the hell you don't want to see a doctor?

I need my muscles to burn.

My mother have a similar problem. It actually took a long time before she had a proper diagnostic and she had "squished spine discs" (I don't know the exact term in english).
It may not be your problem, but just saying. :/

They thought my spine might be curved because of the way I walk, but after the X-Rays, that didn't seem to be the case.

Probably like me and doesn't trust them the slightest. I've had more than one instance where they just kinda toy with you, and not a goddamn thing gets done, and you're spending more and more money on these appointments for them to figure out what's wrong with you -- when you know the whole fucking time.

I'm wagering you weren't pooping blood at the time, though.

Also check-ups. I just escaped paying for an MRI this year, because incidentally the machine was out of order when I was appointed lol.

It's a bit creepy when you have a hard disk whose reallocated sector count keeps increasing slowly and yet you notice absolutely nothing going wrong with your data while it happens.

I suppose 805 is probably a very high number.

I was coughing it at one point. Got better on my own though it took a lot longer.

Heh, you crazy people without state funded healthcare. You'd think someone somewhere would try and do something about that. :P

Yeah, "Obamacare" is supposed to solve that. Instead it's yet another bundle of red tape that we can actually get fined for not paying (because it doesn't come out of our taxes automatically like it would in Canada or the UK). It doesn't go into effect until 2014.

I'm certainly glad we have a (mostly) workable system. Even in the last year or so I've had to have countless doctors appointments, X-rays, scans, physio appointments, drugs and other treatments and some minor surgery - all for the price of simply paying my taxes. Sure, sometimes there are waiting lists and sure private healthcare will have nicer-looking wards and so on but I really can't complain about it versus the value of having a "free" healthcare system.

Not for long, apparently!

Hacked together a UI mockup for a game I don't even know dot one about the gameplay of yet. Just getting ideas together.

I know that. It actually took years for my mother to get a proper diagnostic about her back problem, but she needed that. It's not something she could just make it better on her own.

The hard drives can be so unpredictable sometimes. :\
It is purely random because you could have detected the problem earlier. You were just lucky the bad sectors haven't hit any crucial data or the partition itself.
And yes, 805 is a lot. D=

That's just it. You're still paying for every visit where they don't figure out what's wrong. Or they just don't listen and they're in it for the money. So while they're sitting on their big stacks of money, someone else is still ailing while waiting for some solution that they can't solve themselves, and it's rather sick.

I totally agree with you (though I'm not sure if she was paying or not). It frustrate me even more because for the time being, the problem could be worse and it's not like she needs any more problems because she already have a lot of them. :\
