Tried for the first time to burn a PSX game for my PS1 console, and it worked! (woo!) but too bad the game was either NTSC or PAL and my TV was the other one so it was black & white

I dunno if there's a similar thing for PS1 games, but it's possible for me to patch PAL PS2 games to get them to run on my NTSC TV.
How the hell did this happen? I only just noticed after watching the movie faaaar too many times that the Star Wars Storm Troopers are mostly left handed. IE they hold their blasters in their left hands.
Those pictures are the correct way around because the upside down L shaped bit at the front is on the correct side. Yeah, I knew that but not which hand they held their weapons in.
Apparently this was because the magazine on the weapons (based on a Sterling L2A3 9mm SMG) kept hitting the actors on the chest when they were held right handed. The question is, does this inherent lack of ergonomics for right handed people, forcing the troopers to hold the weapon in their offhand explain their lack of accuracy or does the EU ( ) somehow "in universe" justify why Stormtroopers are left handed?

Yes I suspected that, if there had been an EU explanation, it would have been be that Jango was left handed. However, a quick google image search for him shows a number of pictures where he seems to favour his right hand (when he isn't packing double pistols or using an item only strapped to one hand etc) and the following video definitely shows him favouring his right:
So no doubt, if they come up with anything at all, the EU will invent some bollocks about how cloning "mirrors" the donor's image or some other nonsense. Then they would have to add in a caveat to explain that with Boba being an unaltered clone, he is right handed. And it's that kind of nonsense that annoys me with the EU. That and the ridiculously unStarwarsy Yuuzhan Vong.
I'm currently addressing some balance issues I've found while implementing the gameplay modifications into SuperArctic. The levels in general need a little more health, and I'm also doing other minor touchups to make them a bit nicer, making minor yet effective use of various zdoom features.
After I'm done with this one, I'm not certain where I want to move to next. Everyone seems to want an improved Astrostein, but I kind of want to work at the released Operation Rheingold episodes (in particular episode 2). Though I think Astrostein could be a fun little primer into future projects of mine, like Laser Larry.
So I decided earlier that I wanted to go on my PS3 for a little bit, turned on...did the 4.11 update blah blah... Come back and open my account...only to find it's been blocked by the SEN/PSN and banned/suspended.
What the fuck. I haven't been on in a few weeks and I come back to this? The only thing I can think of right now is that the email I registered with the account doesn't actually exist- but then I've been using it for a well over a year now...so surely they would have picked that up a hell of alot earlier.... >_< I really can't be bothered to be stuck on hold by Sony on the phone and it's a sunday anyway.... fuuuuuuuuuu

The uniforms seem to also favour dropping down to the left knee, going by how that is squared off and the right knee has a bandolier of pouches (or something) around it. I'm no expert, but I'd say left handed firearms and kneeling on your left knee wouldn't make for a stable firing platform (handy, as you'd assume lasers don't have recoil). Seems like things looking cool may have been a major inhibitor to performance and practicality.
hnsolo77's cracked link made for a good read, although I was rather dissappointed to see that link at the end saying that the guns are just crap.
MAN I hate it when testers don't test in the designated months of "critical bug" testing! Have to wait for the public post-release to capture actual bugs.
Testers suck. It's a shame when it's self-satisfaction over useful feedback.
C++ Is used in a lot of stuff, so no - you definitely won't. And in case others are interested.. Big props to Konda for showing me this, because it's fucking impossible to find something.
