I'm also working on a very experimental Doom mod with Vanquish-style power sliding. It serves as both evasion tool and melee weapon. The player has 2 stats they have to worry about:

Health: It runs out, you die. The lower your health, the faster your NRG replenishes.
NRG: Short for Nanoenergy. Replenishes over time. Your weapons use this to fire, and your dash is powered by it too. NRG also represents your armor; the less you have, the more damage you take when hit.

The funny part? That is actually the next thing on my todo list and i'm even planning to do a timelapse video of it being constructed from scratch. The initial priority was all the female players, then all the male players (which would be easier than the females, since they're mostly a leotard fest with common body builds with only Donovan and Jedah as complex characters, and FYI, Pyron comes after Lord Raptor due to his guile base mesh looking nature), then all the female side characters that barely got a chance (Lin-Lin, teenage Anita, Marionette). Some of the Darkstalkers even share FEET and HANDS so I could recycle for example, Felicia's hands and feet for Rikuo and it'll still be accurate.

LOL I drew Haktoria sketches for Crusader, Necromancer and Paladin and all their weapons just the other day (Paladin's a barbaric male, Crusader is a bishounen male and Necro is androgynous without a visible face or flesh of any sort). I still want to get that DM test out. I'll make up for the lack of the naked boobage soon. Yes, the partially exposed chest is staying because it's also a "radar" test, provoking various mailing list debates of Linux repositories about it (Like the topic of proposing OS parental controls is somehow against the "freedom" of Free Software and might go against the "don't be like windows" mantra since Windows 7 has the feature). I'm curious to see if you can actually 'sudo apt-get install' videogame boobies you can't even normally see in single player at some point in the future, even though it's pretty commonplace on M-rated console video games these days without a word of backlash. Sometimes I get suggestions to make OA's angelyss topless (rather than being covered by a sling) so she appears less provocative!

Also, games in a fantasy setting have this exemption of having explicit content because you know it's a fantasy setting. That is why Hexen II is rated T for all the fun graphic corpse-gibbing, your-head-a-splode-on-wall gore (and medusa boobs). Gibbing is totally OK if you do it with a sword or magic
