Nice. They fit much better with Doom colours and have more detail and definition too. I guess we'll be seeing them in loads of mods now.

Not that I mind actually. I'd much rather have the satisfaction of setting a bad guy alight and see (and hear) him have a burning death - even one that I have seen many times over - than have him just fall down like he would when being killed by any old weapon.

I tried hacking together a burning death sound for the zombies by editing their existing death sounds. The results were... disturbing.

You could do what Half-Life 2 did with their zombies: record someone doing their best burning-to-death screamy spiel and lower the pitch a bit.
