Holy Jeebus why am I so creeped out by something I created?

I managed to fit this thing into 57KB, so I'm starting to reconsider my other entries for the 64K compo.

Expert Moon Lord is completely impossible. I am absolutely convinced of this fact.
After far too many failed attempts, I eventually gave in and looked for help.
I couldn't find a single strategy that didn't involve:
A. Building a ridiculous contraption that perfectly dodges for you while you sit there for half an hour waiting for your summons to kill him. (This would certainly work, but it'd be about as satisfying as microwaving leftovers. "OH BOY I PUSHED A FEW BUTTONS THEN WAITED AROUND DOING NOTHING, I'M SO FUCKING TALENTED"... I want to fight him, not cheese him to death with a teleporting roller-coaster.)
B. Bringing a multiplayer army and making sure at least one player is alive at all times. (I don't have an army of friends. Or a computer that can handle an army of friends. Or friends.)
C. ...doing stuff that only works against his Normal mode damage output. That just gets you killed in Expert.
D. Using the stuff he drops. (If I had that stuff, I'd clearly have already solved the problem! ...Or brought it in from a Normal Mode world.)
E. Some combination of the above.

I've managed to defeat everything else in Terraria through skill and DETERMINATIONpersistence, but this is just too much for me.
Maybe if I didn't have to go through the fucking gauntlet of the Celestial Towers every time I wanted to fight him, I'd actually be able to learn how to properly dodge his attacks... I'd love to just set up some platforms with heart/star statues and maybe lihzhard traps and bring him down like a MANNLY MANN, but I guess I'll have to just build a friggin' "hoik track" or whatever and let the game masturbate to death. Might as well just hack the items in at that rate.

That finish was only a 1 thousandth of a second to the line and the 11 car got it by in inch. That's what I call a race you guys. That was a photo finish to the line.

Super Shotgun Launcher makes it really easy to change which soundfont D64EX runs with (must be a console command somewhere), and since all the game's sounds are loaded from its soundfont, I knew exactly what I was getting into.

It should be possible to beat him by using the sexy space gun (vortex beater) if you do NOT shoot off the two eyes on his stupid motherfucker hands until his stupid motherfucker face is almost dead too.
I certainly managed to damage him a very fair bit by dodging everything on an asphalt space ramp and using a Rod of Discord to teleport through his cheap-ass motherfucker death beam.
Even then killing his core will be an exercise in cheap boss play, since even with sk33lz to dodge like hell and teleport from danger - you'll still die. To those fucking hand eyes. Who do their fucking death beam thing. OFF-SCREEN WHERE YOU HAVE NO CHANCE OF SPOTTING IT BEFORE IT HITS YOU. 101/10 BEST IDEA EVER

The best thing about this is that you'll need a stupendous amount of buff items alongside a ~0.2%~ chaos elemental drop.
no i am not kidding, you need that thing for dodging moon man's death laz0r beam without going out of your way to stop your damage output for too long

That's not cool at all. I did not hesitate to share the knowledge out of good spirit (because the community has always been helpful to me). I didn't expect someone else to take that knowledge and "one up" me in a competition thread, that's just shady. you know, i've been farming for one of those since the day they were implemented? (not 24/7, but i've made many attempts, some of which went on for so long that i actually fell asleep out of either fatigue or sheer boredom)
you wanna know the grand total of how many i've found?

i mean, i've been playing video games since i was, like, 2 years old. that was over 20 years ago.
i'd like to think i'm pretty good at them by now.

this guy just vaporizes me in under a minute, despite my reforged gear and copious amounts of potions and my absolute best efforts, and i can't even figure out what i can actually do to improve on it.
it's like a bullet hell shooter where you have limited ammo, a huge hitbox, and slow-ass dodging (the UFO mount is actually pretty fast, but it still takes time to change directions and I'm like 90% sure that sometimes his deathray is literally impossible to avoid anyway)
