So, I was just successfully approved to move in to a new apartment in Colorado Springs. I think I can knock that "Currently Displaced" status out of my location now, even though I do not move for another 6 days.
It'll also be easier for me to do all the more interesting things I want to or need to do, such as the life drawing lessons Kinsie suggested a few pages ago, as well as speak with a psychiatrist, and maybe even find a local tabletop game of BattleTech somewhere! :D

Colorado Springs isn't a bad city to live in, especially if you're not far from Powers Blvd, which is basically where most of the damn city is. Just be wary of the drivers - some of the worst I've ever seen (then again, I haven't been any further east than Colorado).

I will be on Academy, a little bit aways from the main campus of Pikes Peak Community College. I know where Powers is, and there does look to be plenty around there. I used to stop by the Hobby Town USA in the Citadel Crossing all the time when I was younger (13-15 YO or so) to pick up miniatures and just basically BS with the people who work there. Perhaps I celebrated a little early, but when I made my last visit there just after apartment hunting, I picked up another lance of 'Mechs.
(Champion, Cataphract, Warhammer Reseen, and Ursus for those who care. The Arctic Avengers demand further reinforcements!)

You could still put it up when we decide to make a visit. :P

Still, now I have to find a job local to that area. Though, there's so many places around, I don't have an excuse not to find something.

I'm actually worried. Now he's got a good stance to swing that hockey stick! :(

Joking aside, I hope this good time lasts much much longer than the previous ones.

Bullshit

Also after a few months of waiting for the parts I finished the PC we were making in IT, unfortunately I don't have any pictures to show of it but here are its final specs

4.2GHz AMD FX4170 quad core CPU with 16mb cache
16GB DDR3 RAM (I think it was Dual Channel RAM)
1GB Gigabyte GT610 graphics card
2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD
120GB SSD

And the mother board was an Asus can't remember which one though

Absolute bullshit. If there's one thing any experienced doomguy would do, then that would be running like all hell.
Instead of like, doing a dramatically slow stroll towards the target.

Fire BFG, surprise bubble shield? Die to sticky bomb?

Yeah, sure.

More like fire BFG, run like hell as always, discover bubble shield - fire some more, discover purpose of shield, do the SSG TO DA FAEC thing a couple of times.
I also quite doubt Master Chief would be able to take 30 seconds of free punishment from Doomguy (remember that he's faster?), if we're to talk factually about the invulnerability. :q

Also, his aim sucked.

We've been putting together a collection for it. Every time he makes a horrible pun, we add a penny to it. :P

Unrelated: Why do I keep on running into these bugs?!

Wow, you really went overboard with RAM. :P

As for the videocard, even if it's a Geforce 600 series, it's still a GT 610, and from my perspective, that's quite a low-end videocard.

CPU-wise, I own a Bulldozer as well, and you might be or might not be dissatisfied, depending on what you need it for. I'm personally quite happy with my FX-8150.

Hands up for the SSD though. Nice choice. :)
