My first experience with Doom was way back in 1995 or so. Sometimes I would stay at my babysitter's house, and her son would let me watch him play Doom. I remember thinking the imps' snorting noises were really really scary.

Ok so I downloaded all those files, now I have no idea what to do... CodeLite won't let me compile, not that I really know where to start anyway. Obviously programming isn't my strong suit... Any ideas?

Anyone know good map editing tools for Mac OSX? The only one I can find is Hellmaker but it seems pretty dead. I tried downloading the SLADE SVN and compile it myself but mancubus.net is down.... any suggestions?
