i'm quite new to doom editing, I tried to make a map (using doom builder), and it all works, I changed it to zdoom doom in doom format (with edit -> map options), and it works, then I tried to change it to doom in hexen format to play around with new features, but when I try to test it, the zdoom quits with a error. I deleted any map effects like doors etc. and it still quits. Same when I tried to make a map in gzdoom format to play around with lighting.
I attached my map
Oh and sorry if I put this thread in a wrong forum, I'm new here

What you've done is actually no bug.
Basically, Domo as Doom and Doom as Hexen are very different set ups for the same thing. The Hexen format is so different a crash is the only thing to expect. What you want to do is get zwadconv and run your Doom format map through that. This will make the map Hexen format properly, so you can play it and edit in that mode.
zwadconv can b found in the download section of the front page.

I had the same problem. When i was changing my very own bigmap.wad(doom2) to tgshootout.wad(doom in hexen) i got that error.
so what i did was i highlighted all of the map's lines, set all the actions for 0. then copy the lines and paste them on a new hexen format map. By the way, you WILL have to remake all of the linedef actions from scratch!
