.deh files won;t work

i have the latest version of zdoom, and .deh files won't work, i even tried jsut drag'n'drop and still no luck..i tried useing 122 also, but fullscreen mode gives a flcikery screen

am i doing somethign wrong? or are .deh and .bex not supported?

Apparently you are doing something wrong. DEH files work fine for me. Have you checked the console output?

If there are any DeHackEd patch installed, you would see "PATCH INSTALLED" in the console.

Oh, really? Didn't know that, sorry. I take that back.

Actually, I just tried it myself, with FUN_2.DEH (because that was the first thing I could see, I don't really use DEHs outside a WAD anymore), and I have another guess. Maybe your patch is too old, something like v2.3 (FUN_2.DEH was), and ZDoom can't run patches with older format. Try converting that to v3.0.

Just get the latest version of Dehacked. Copy your vanilla Doom.exe and Doom.wad to put in your dehacked directory. Or you can even run dehacked in your Doom folder. Run dehacked. Load the patch. Save it with the same name. Boom, it's converted.

Load another patch, reloading your EXE defaults - and you can do it all over again.
