I know, it's another cheat bug...
In Heretic, the regular "silver shield" icon is used when the console cheat is excuted. I believe the "shield with the skull on it" aka "enchanted shield" should be used since that is the shield that provides 200 armor. In all the games that uses armor (with the exception of Hexen and Hexen:DK), they use the "more power armor icon". It seems to make sense to be consistant on this.
This also seems to affect the "RAMBO" cheat (the give all except keys cheat).

I wouldn't really worry about it... Heretic and Hexen doesn't have 100+ health... and this would defeat the purpose of the Health item in Strife to receive health upgrades (you get the Health item as part of the "Give All" console cheat)And a minor note before I leave which is bugging me, Give all doesn't give 200 health. Not sure if it's a bug or not but *leaves*

Actually.. "Give All" in every game (with the exception of Hexen, since it doesn't have one) doesn't give the backpack.2.0.96: "give all" in Heretic does not seem to give the backpack.
The irony is that the cheat code for getting all the stuff (like "IDKFA"/"IDFA" for Doom and "NRA" for Heretic) gives the backpack upgrade.
Re: [98] Heretic "Give All" Console Cheat Discrepe
Fixed, although it's not quite what you thought it was. The icon display was correct, because you were being given the lesser-absorbing of the two armors. In the other games, the better armor absorbs half the damage you take. In Heretic, the lesser armor absorbs half the damage and the greater armor absorbs three-fourths of the damage.Deathlike2 wrote:I know, it's another cheat bug...
Fixed the backpack cheat too. It should only give a "backpack" in Doom and use the equivalent item for Heretic and Strife, but it gave Doom's backpack for those games too.
